Local Transport
In Hamburg and Düsseldorf, goods for delivery to France and Italy are bundled at the warehouse, while in Paris, shipments for Germany are consolidated. Goods are sorted by postal code areas and, whenever possible, shipments from different customers with identical recipients are merged to make transport more efficient.
Our own local transport handles pre-carriage within a radius of up to 200 km and ensures reliable delivery. By bundling and optimizing deliveries, we can shorten transit times, reduce costs, and simultaneously ensure high service quality – for efficient last-mile logistics from the warehouse to the customer.
Last Mile
Our last-mile delivery is carried out via our ASTRE general cargo network, in which we play an active role. Through constant exchange with our partners, we ensure optimized routes, bundled shipments, and reliable deliveries.
We consistently rely on HVO100 biodiesel, which allows us to significantly reduce emissions and make our transport sustainable. In this way, we combine efficiency, reliability, and environmental awareness – for modern and responsible logistics from the warehouse to the customer. When transporting just 5 pallets from Paris to Lyon (466 km), we save around 207 kg of CO₂ compared to conventional diesel by using HVO100 biodiesel. By bundling shipments, optimizing routes, and using sustainable fuels, we make our last-mile logistics efficient and environmentally friendly – for our customers and the environment.
