Thanks to our decades of experience in the wine & spirits sector, we have repeatedly received inquiries from Italy in addition to imports from France. As this demand came from many of our existing customers and we were also looking for further growth markets, we specifically included the Italian market in our service portfolio.
We have also been offering transportation from Germany to France for several years. Thanks to an existing network – including Astre and other local partners – we have been able to develop this market quickly and reliably.
By bundling shipments for existing customers, we optimize pre-carriage and onward carriage for both import and export, thereby creating efficient, economical and sustainable transport solutions.

Does Siegmann only travel to France?
As a freight forwarder, our aim is to offer our customers tailor-made solutions. Thanks to our many years of expertise in the French market, we ensure that we only operate at a familiar and proven level. In addition to France, we therefore limit our scheduled services to Italy.
In the area of promotional and spot business, however, we are active throughout Europe and transport goods flexibly to various countries. Belgium, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom are particularly strong markets.
How many trucks does Siegmann have
Siegmann now has 40 trucks of its own. The step towards becoming an asset began with the opening of our Polish branch in Warsaw. The size of the fleet is now well over 140 vehicles
Does Siegmann also use temperature control?
Definitely. We serve various food and chemical customers who require temperature-controlled transportation. We cover a wide range of temperatures – from -30 °C to over +20 °C – and thus ensure compliance with product specifications at all times.
Our most valuable transport
We implemented a project with a total value of 3.4 million euros for a customer in the mechanical engineering sector. This involved the transportation of high-quality machine components between Germany and France. To ensure a smooth process, we took our own warehouse staff directly to the unloading point in France. Thanks to precise planning, efficient routes and close coordination with all parties involved, the project was completed on time and without incident.

We transported 350 full loads from France to Germany within a week for a well-known retail brand. Thanks to close coordination with the customer and efficient route planning, all deliveries were handled reliably and on time. We organized a tender for this project at short notice, coordinated the Eastern European carrier contacts via our Polish branch and assigned and managed all transports centrally via us.
